With more inclement weather forecast overnight, conditions for Betfair Chase day at Haydock are going to be gruelling to say the least.

It should go without saying the key will be finding a horse who goes in heavy ground and the one who stands out on that score is Westren Warrior in the Betfair Exchange 'Fixed Brush' Handicap Hurdle (2.25).

Unbeaten under rules on heavy ground, Westren Warrior has been aimed at this race for some time, and when Richard Newland targets a valuable contest, more often than not his horses go close.
