It's hard to believe Coeur Blimey was only 7-2 in a Lingfield novice on the Flat to beat Wissahickon in May, but he had earned himself a mark 89 and was due to run in the Cesarewitch following a pipe-opener at Goodwood in September.

He didn't, probably because the ground was way too fast (self certificate), but at least we know he is fit for his seasonal return over jumps and that he won't mind the rain that has fallen in the past two days.
