Graeme Rodway has a perm for the Placepot on the all-weather at Lingfield

Credit: Edward Whitaker

There is a decent card on the all-weather at Lingfield and that is the focus for the Placepot.

My Poem won nicely at Kempton last time and should make the places in the opening 1m4f handicap (11.45). Course-and-distance winner Torbellino looks like the best alternative.

The mile handicap (12.15) looks like a good opportunity for Corazon Espinado to cash in on his falling mark. Markazi is another who looks well handicapped so make him the back-up.

Passing Nod drops into plating company for the first time in the 7f selling handicap (12.45) and has a good record at this course. The in-form Pour La Victoire is another big player.

The 7f fillies' handicap (1.15) looks a tight five-runner contest. Dancing Feet has been in good form on the all-weather this winter and the topweight is taken to finish in the first two.

The 1m2f novice (1.45) is open for a race of its nature. Galactic Glow has the best form on offer and might be the solid option, but it is also worth including the lightly raced filly Iris Bud.

Kodiac Harbour was a good second over course and distance last time and might be capable of improving on that in the first division of the 1m2f handicap (2.15). He is banker material.
