Goodwood on the radar for Curragh-bound Dutch Connection

Dutch Connection heads to Ireland on Sunday for the Qatar Airways Minstrel Stakes (3.45) at the Curragh.

I’m keen to run him before Goodwood and the Qatar Lennox Stakes – one of his main targets of the campaign. He ran in the Summer Mile last year, which I think helped set him up to win the Lennox on his next start.

This time, though, he misses the Summer Mile as the evidence of his good run in the Queen Anne is that 7f will suit him better. He’s pleased me since Ascot, but he needs the ground quick.
