The Guineas is the plan with Clemmie, although she has never raced beyond six furlongs. Her brother Churchill got the mile well, though. She had a stone bruise for the last few days but she'll be fine. We're training Happily for Newmarket. She did well last year, winning the Moyglare before beating the colts in the Prix Jean-Luc Lagardere, and we think she'll get further than a mile. September isn't the biggest but acts like she's the biggest! She has a hell of an attitude. We’re happy with where we are with her and are looking at the Guineas. She might run in a trial, we'll see, I think she’ll stay further than a mile later in the season and there’s every chance she could be an Oaks filly. You look at her pedigree – Deep Impact won over a mile and seven, and she's out of Peeping Fawn. She struts around the place – a big pedigree and a big personality. I don’t think her size is an issue. It's early days but I Can Fly has done well and could go for the Guineas, while Snowflakes, a sister of Winter, will hopefully win a maiden early in the season and might be another for the race.

She's wintered fine and looks good. She has a good cruising speed and should be suited by Newmarket. The 1,000 Guineas is the target and she'll have a prep race beforehand.

Sir Michael Stoute, trainer of Veracious
She's a filly we like and she's done well over the winter despite the cold, but it's too early to say if she'll go for the 1,000 Guineas. She's not done any fast work yet but we'll know more next month.
