>>Royal Diplomat touched a low of 1.03 in running on Betfair to land a big gamble in the opener at Naas but, having been backed to 6-4 favourite from 5-2, the market leader was worn down by 4-1 shot Moonlight Bay.

The winner hit 40 and became trainer Kevin Prendergast's third winner of the race since 2009.

>>Have A Go Hero defied a high of 120 when springing a 33-1 surprise in the 3m1f novice chase at Hereford. He upset 11-2 shot Shelford, who had hit 1.04, while market leaders Chef D'Oeuvre (6-5) and Sir Ivan (11-8) were backed to lows of 1.25 and 1.64.
