Frustrating Danzeno fails to deliver again

Muraabit produced his customary storming finish to win the 1m2f handicap at York from an unpromising position after briefly being short of room. Even so, it was a surprise to see Ismail Mohammed's gelding backed at 1,000 for small money in running on Betfair, especially as none of his rivals traded at shorter than evens.

Despite taking a massive drop in class from the Group 1 Nunthorpe to a Listed race back at York, Danzeno looked a risky proposition at a short price having lost his last two starts in such company. And so it proved, as the evens favourite couldn't live with Nameitwhatyoulike in the final furlong after trading at 1.4.

My Good Brother, favourite for the 5f handicap at Dundalk, showed a good attitude to hold on in a close finish, although the 24 he traded at seemed excessive.
