Friday fancies: our experts give their best bets of the day
Newmarket: David Milnes
Felix (1.40 Doncaster, nap)
Can confirm the promise of his recent work on the Al Bahathri for owner Luca Cumani. Formerly trained by the Italian, the chestnut is now handled by Sir Michael Stoute.

North: Colin Russell
Leodis Dream (4.05 Sandown, nap)
Progressive three-year-old who completed a hat-trick when winning at Thirsk on his reappearance. Will come on for that run and, with aid of a low draw, is expected to go well again for the O'Meara team.
Others to follow

Oliver Sherwood has enjoyed a solid season and this useful mare can cap it having ran a blinder at Cheltenham last week and now stepped up in trip.
West Country: Andrew King
Jatiluwih (5.20 Chepstow, nap)
Made an immediate impact when scoring on British debut last month and can follow up under similar conditions.
Others to follow
Chepstow: 4.50 Days Of Roses, 6.25 Triple Chief, 7.00 Espalion, 8.00 Delface.
Bangor-On-Dee: 5.40 Kalaskadesemilley, 6.15 Mrs Burbidge.
Perth: 3.15 Drinks Interval.
Racing Post Ratings: Simon Turner
Forest Of Dean (1.40 Doncaster, nap)
Solid reappearance effort at Redcar, when finishing off well in a decent race for the grade. Looks well handicapped off a mark of 85.
Topspeed: Dave Edwards
Bangkok (3.00 Sandown, nap)
Earned smart figures when bagging a Doncaster maiden on his reappearance last month and the form has been boosted since. Upped in class, but has the attributes required.
Longshot: Ben Harris
Dazzling Dan (3.25 Doncaster)
Runner-up to two smart horses in Watan and Jash in novice company last year, before breaking his maiden in good style over course-and-distance. He's not been seen since, and we may not have seen the best of him yet.
Ireland: Tony O'Hehir
Botani (8.10 Kilbeggan)
Showed enough on her debut when fourth at Leopardstown to suggest that with expected improvement she should be up to winning an ordinary bumper. Willie Mullins appears to have found a suitable opportunity for the five-year-old.
