He confirmed he’s going to be very hard to beat this season with an easy win in the Prix Ganay at Longchamp in April, a race in which subsequent Lockinge winner Rhododendron was more than five lengths away in fourth. Becomes only the ninth horse since 2006 to carry a BHA rating of 130 or more in Britain or Ireland – making him better than ten of the last 12 Derby winners – and has no problems with soft ground.

Conclusion Officially better than rivals by upwards of 8lb and impossible to oppose.
