The Punt Acca: Laurence Morter's three horse racing tips at Chester on Wednesday

Three horses to include in a multiple on the Roodee

Social Exclusion (1.30 Chester)

Social Exclusion made an eyecatching debut last month at Southwell. After a bit of trouble before the start where one of her opponents unseated her jockey and got loose, she showed she was a composed individual, not letting the fuss affect her and settling into the race well before pulling clear in the closing stages. It was a remarkably professional performance for a youngster which should stand her in good stead. She will have to overcome a wider draw than desired, but she showed the pace to make up ground last time and should go well.

Queen Of Thieves (2.35 Chester)

Queen Of Thieves made it third time lucky when winning last time after a somewhat difficult start to her career. Racing only once as a juvenile at the back end of last season. she made her reappearance at the beginning of April at Newbury. She ran reasonably well but was outpaced in the closing stages. She was upped in trip last time and looked much fitter, roaring home for an 11-length win. This is a much tougher test of her abilities, but she has the profile to win races such as this and looks well drawn in stall four.

Convergent (3.05 Chester)

A perfect two wins from two, Convergent has shown ability. Racing only once as a juvenile, he made his reappearance last month at Redcar and showed the winter had no ill effects by storming to a comfortable win. He will have come on for that run and shaped as though the step up to a mile and a half will suit. He has a decent draw and should go well.
