The Punt Acca: Harry Wilson with tips from Hereford and Lingfield on Thursday

Zmiinyi (3.10 Hereford)

Stepped up on his hurdling form when fitted with a tongue-tie on his chasing debut at Market Rasen in November, pressing the leader three out before mistakes at the last two fences. It looked like he was found wanting for stamina that day, although time has told that he bumped into one, as the winner is now 23lb higher after two more wins. He bounced back from lesser efforts in softer ground when fourth at Warwick after a 98-day break last month, when he was disputing the lead two out before weakening. Those efforts suggest this drop to 2m is definitely worth exploring and this race won't take a lot of winning.

Captain Attridge (3.45 Hereford)

Returned from six months off to win a novice handicap hurdle comfortably over this course and distance on last year's reappearance and is just 5lb higher off the back of a similar layoff this time. He was beaten just a head off this mark here last May, when running on strongly after not jumping the last fluently, and has his first start at this track since.

Rebel Star (4.45 Lingfield)

Shaped well on all three novice/maiden events on the all-weather and caught the eye when second in a first-time visor on her handicap debut at Wolverhampton last month. She did well to be beaten just half a length that day, having raced wide throughout and forced to make her effort a long way from home in a race that wasn't run to suit. She followed that with two more narrow defeats (a short head and a head), including when nabbed late on by subsequent winner Midnightattheoasis over this course and distance. She's been raised just 2lb to mark of 56 and Racing Post Ratings of 62, 64, and 64 suggest she's very capable of winning a race like this granted more luck.
