Paul Kealy's play of the day at Hereford

Captain Attridge
Captain Attridge is preferred coming off a break on good ground as he showed his best form last year in similar circumstances, winning after a 162-day layoff here last May off a mark of 95.
Raised to 100 for his next assignment over the same course and distance, he went down by only a head in a ten-runner field, and after a few runs since he's back to the same mark.
He may well have had a problem after finishing fourth of nine on his return at Ludlow in first-time cheekpieces (discarded here) in October as we haven't seen him since, but we know he goes well fresh.
Henry Oliver's few runners in March generally ran well (two winners and three seconds from ten runners) and his most recent winner was ridden by David Noonan.
