Nottingham Placepot tips: Robbie Wilders' selections for the £50,000 guarantee on Tuesday

Calafrio ran a cracker when second on her return at Thirsk this month and gets the vote in the 6f handicap (2.08) that opens the Placepot at Nottingham. David Probert is a positive jockey booking, having recorded a winner and a second in four rides for Phil Kirby (£15 level-stakes profit). 

Improving sprinter City Of Strangers will be difficult to ignore if turned out quickly in the following 6f handicap (2.43) for three-year-olds. The well-bred Volcanic Dancer is also worth considering off a low mark on her handicap debut with Kieran Shoemark up. 

Expressionless produced an encouraging effort from off the pace over an inadequate trip at Newbury recently and will be more at home over an extra half-mile in the 1m6f handicap (3.18).

Bint Al Daar met some in-running trouble when fourth on her comeback at Southwell and has a class edge in the fillies' handicap (3.53).

The Nottinghamshire Oaks (4.28) is intriguing despite the small field. Preference is for Musidora runner-up Francophone, the only runner in the field with a Group 1 entry. She could be in for a big season. 

The final leg (5.03) looks a good opportunity for Lady Mariko if she can negotiate a wide draw. Going for home too soon cost her over course and distance last time.
