Nap of the day: the best horse racing tips from the day's five meetings on Wednesday April 30
Top selections across the cards in Britain and Ireland

Ascot
4.30: My Cloud
Unexposed My Cloud looks the type to do well in handicaps this year and he should be suited by Ascot if taking after his best sibling. Class-droppers Toimy Son, Son and Talis Evolvere complete the shortlist, preferred in that order. Steve Boow
Brighton
4.45: Royal Accord
Watkins (second choice) may have turned a corner and has good claims of reversing last week's Lingfield placings with She Went Whoosh, but they may have to play second fiddle to Royal Accord, who's in good nick and will be fine back on turf. The unexposed Up The Anti is also interesting on her seasonal return. Richard Russell
Pontefract
4.38: Kats Bob
Zip It Up fluffed her lines at Lingfield on her return, seemingly not enjoying going around a left-hand turn, but her debut win was so promising that she can't be ignored now handicapping on turf. Kodiac Thriller is an interesting horse for sprints this season and the betting can guide on his stable debut after 200 days off. Wreck It Ryley is a solid contender after a decisive Thirsk win on his return but the thriving Kats Bob is 4-4 since joining Ruth Carr and he escapes a penalty for last week's Thirsk success. He can go in again before the handicapper exacts revenge. Paul Smith
Punchestown
6.35: Seo Linn
Having kept fresh for Aintree, the Flat-bred Seo Linn may continue to show the benefit of sidestepping a winter campaign. She may have too much pace for obvious dangers Carrigmoornaspruce and Future Prospect, closely matched on Fairyhouse form, with the proviso that the Mullins runner may do better if settling more readily. Good Girl Kathleen and Rock On By are relatively unexposed and of some interest. Alan Sweetman
Southwell
5.05: Return With Gold
Jack Jones's An Bradan Feasa (second choice) seems sure to go well under a 5lb penalty for his recent Catterick success but Ollie Pears's Return With Gold hasn't looked back since sent handicapping and can bag a second success after an excellent Wolverhampton third last time (form franked). Addosh, Pride Of Nepal and Persian Phoenix can fight it out for minor honours. Peter Entwistle
