Ffos Las Placepot picks: Paul Kealy's perm for the £75,000 guaranteed pool

Lud'or arguably has the best hurdles form in the opener (12.12) at Ffos Las, but there's nothing special about it and for Placepot purposes I'd be taking him on with Dunskay and Juby Ball.

Dunskay won two bumpers, and the runner-up in one is unbeaten in three since, while the second in the other has won a novice hurdle by ten lengths. Juby Ball also had some decent bumper form, including a win here.

In the next (12.42) I'd be happy enough to stick with Jasmine Bliss. She was beaten at odds-on on her hurdles debut but went down by only a length to a mare who won a Listed heat by 15 lengths for Nicky Henderson next time.

Handstands and Cherie D'Am are the two standouts in the Towton (1.15) but the next (1.51) looks a fair bit trickier.

Mini Yeats has become well handicapped on his best form and looked to find 2m too sharp last time, while Dangerous Touch showed his best form in three novice outings last time and goes up to a trip that should suit for his handicap debut.

I reckon you could make a case for most in a difficult fifth leg (2.25) but my three suggestions, with no particular confidence, are Double Click, who looks ready for another crack at more than 2m, Saunton Surf, who might be suited by coming back in trip, and handicap debutant Jesuila Des Mottes.

The final leg (2.58) looks much less competitive to these eyes and I'm happy to bank on solid handicapper One Big Bang.
