'He can prove a class above the opposition' - why this horse can win on Saturday
The Dewhurst and Cesarewitch take place at Newmarket while there is also competitive action at York

Punters can look forward to a busy weekend of racing and our top team provide their selections for the action . . .
Spyce (1.50 Newmarket)
By Jack Haynes
I'm a big fan of this Alan King-trained juvenile, who cost 280,000gns as a breeze-up in April and has shaped with lots of promise in two starts.
He finished off well for second in the Convivial maiden over 7f at York – a race that is working out quite well – and showcased a great attitude when battling back to win over a mile at Yarmouth last time.
The step up to 1m2f looks the right move and he looks overpriced in a race that appears to lack a standout contender.

Erzindjan (2.05 York)
By Joe Eccles
Terry Kent's gelding was a huge eyecatcher when fourth in the typically competitive Cambridgeshire at Newmarket last time, finishing well clear of his group positioned towards the stands' side.
He also did best of the hold-up horses when an 80-1 fourth in the John Smith's Cup over course and distance in July.
The seven-year-old is on a long losing run but often competes at a higher level, with this set to be just his seventh start in handicap company, and he can prove a class above the opposition.
Al Zanati (2.25 Newmarket)
By Stuart Redding
All seven of these have won before and Al Zanati is the one I fancy to add to his tally.
He was sent off an odds-on favourite for his debut at Newmarket's July course in August and didn't disappoint, finding enough to hold off the late challenger August George.
He has been given plenty of time to develop and the runner-up won next time out.
Distant Storm (3.00 Newmarket)
By Jake Aldrich
The Charlie Appleby-trained Distant Storm bounced back from defeat in the Acomb when a deeply impressive Group 3 winner over this course and distance last time out. A repeat of that performance may be good enough to follow up here.
Gstaad and Zavateri are closely matched from their run in the National Stakes last time out and can fight it out for the places. Zavateri emerged on top that day and may nose out Gstaad for second place.
Uncle Don (3.15 York)
By Harry Wilson
Uncle Don has caught the eye on his last starts and looks worth siding with in the Coral Sprint Trophy.
Having been gelded and given a break since trailing home last at Goodwood in May, the three-year-old showed plenty of promise at Chester in August behind a runaway winner, keeping on well from the back to be beaten less than two lengths for second despite completely blowing the start and pulling hard.
He then had no chance to show what he could do at Haydock last time, barely getting a run from over two furlongs out until deep inside the last, finishing fourth. The third, who was a neck in front, has gone close since to give the form substance.
His best juvenile form came at this time of year, including an eye-catching second to the now 102-rated Star Of Mehmas in a Listed contest, and he looks more than capable of making an impact from a mark of 91, granted more luck in running.

Reverend Hubert (3.40 Newmarket)
By James Hill
Eighth in last year’s Cesarewitch, he returns off 1lb lower this time having just trotted in in the Trial over course and distance last month.
Rated as high as 137 over hurdles and 144 over fences, he can’t have been at his best when well beaten 12 months ago and, in any case, conditions will be more in his favour now.
Should be clear favourite for a yard which has won this race before.
