Cheltenham Festival Placepot tips: Paul Kealy with his picks for the £750,000 guaranteed pool on Thursday

Well played if you copped Tuesday's massive Placepot payout at Cheltenham. That was the day I thought it would pay buttons, but it came in at a whopping £11,000, although I think I'd have needed 11,000 lines to have got it up myself.

On paper, day three is the hardest of all as we have a load of big fields, but I do like the chances of Galileo Dame in the opener (1.20). 

She's first on my list and while Sixandahalf is inexperienced, jumping looks to be far from an issue for this obviously very talented mare.

The novice handicap (2.00) is very difficult, but you have to put in course specialist Springwell Bay even under top weight. 

My two outsiders Insurrection and Ryan's Rocket are going in, but I'll also add in Galway Hurdle winner Nurburgring.

I can't say I fancy favourite Jeriko Du Reponet in the next (2.40) as he's far from straightforward. I much prefer D Art D Art and Win Some Lose Some, who was put away for this after winning his qualifier in December.

I'm taking on the front pair in the Ryanair (3.20) as I don't think either is too far ahead of the rest and Il Est Francais has questions to answer on an undulating track.

The last two winners of this, Protektorat and Envoi Allen, look sure to run well again, while Djelo is overpriced on what he has been doing this season.

In the Stayers Hurdle (4.00), nine of Teahupoo's rivals are younger than nine of the horses he beat last year when he had everything in his favour.

Now on quicker ground, he's beatable and the two I like most are progressive pair Lucky Place and The Wallpark.

The final leg is the Plate (4.40) and it's three again for a big perm to small stakes. Thecompanysergeant and Conflated are the two I've backed, while Gemirande is going back on ground he likes and should be a player.
