Free Cheltenham Festival tips: six horses to back on Friday at Cheltenham

Friday's best bets ranked in order of confidence by our top tipsters

Eyecatcher

Cobblers Dream (5.30 Cheltenham)

Highly progressive and was well on top when winning the Lanzarote Hurdle at Kempton last time. Up another 8lb but won't mind conditions and represents good each-way value.
Marcus Buckland

Ace tipster

Good Time Jonny(2.50 Cheltenham)

Experienced novices have a decent record in the Albert Bartlett and he has an intriguing profile for the race. He stays three miles and is set to be a big price considering he is the third highest-rated runner in the field.
Robbie Wilders

Speed figures

Tornado Flyer (3.30 Cheltenham)

Did not get the credit he deserved for his King George triumph and can confirm that effort was not a flash in the pan and silence the doubters.
Dave Edwards

Handicappers' nap

Hillcrest (2.50 Cheltenham)

Has improved his RPR on all his completed starts over hurdles and was hugely impressive when stepped up to 3m at Haydock last time. He sets a good standard and there is surely better to come.
Steve Mason

Dark horse

Porticello(1.30 Cheltenham)

Extremely impressive when winning the Grade 1 Finale Juvenile at Chepstow before following up with a 17-length victory at Haydock last month. Will need more here but has beaten strong opposition previously and will appreciate this soft ground.
Jamie Griffith

West Country

Bob And Co (4.10 Cheltenham)

Looked to be travelling well here 12 months ago before unseating three out. Primed for this after a decent Haydock run and officially one of the best horses in the race.
James Stevens
