You can confidently put a line through what The Tide Turns did in the Boodles at Cheltenham. Not only did he jump the first hurdle after the field burst through the tape and caused a false start, but anything that could have gone wrong in the race did go wrong.

It surely wasn't Plan A for Jack Kennedy to be plumb last jumping four out and I actually thought he made some nice headway coming down the hill. He looked like he might stay on to be placed until Doctor Brown Bear crashed into him over two out and Kennedy accepted the situation quickly in the straight. It was just one of those days.
