The rain tried it’s best to spoil the 32Red Sprint Cup at Haydock yesterday, and it did in a way as we lost the star turn in Limato, but the cream undoubtedly rose to the top, with Quiet Reflection beating The Tin Man.

While for the most part this Flat season hasn’t been overly exciting, we have some really good sprinters.

Quiet Reflection was a bit below form when winning at Ascot and again when third in the July Cup, but back at her favourite track of Haydock she was good – although all the sprint form pales into insignificance when you compare it to what Mecca’s Angel did at York.
