There are a whole host of unexposed types in the opening 2m6f handicap hurdle at Navan, but perhaps the best treated horse of all is right down at the bottom of the weights in the shape of Rightdownthemiddle.

Although he is an 11-year-old who completely lost his way last season, Rightdownthemiddle was a 134-rated chaser once upon a time and looked as though he still retained some enthusiasm for the game when second at Ayr last month.
