Bryan Cooper got it wrong in the Guinness Kerry National (4.10) last year when he picked Ravished instead of narrow winner Rogue Angel but I am convinced he is on the right one this time in the shape of the mud-loving eight-year-old Folsom Blue who ticks so many boxes.

Folsom Blue reached a rating of 142 as a novice hurdler in the winter of 2012 when in the care of Conor O'Dwyer and since joining Mouse Morris he has threatened to land a big pot like this.

He was a fine fifth to Shutthefrontdoor in the Irish National in 2014 as a novice off a mark of 135, third to Minella Foru in the Paddy Power last December off 130 and fourth in the Irish National in March off 134.
