Falcon can swoop to November Handicap victory for Meade

Some top hurdlers have won the November Handicap (4.15) in the past, including subsequent World Hurdle hero Solwhit, and plenty of good types revert to the Flat in a bid to land this year’s renewal of the lucrative €100,000 event.

Snow Falcon may not be a World Hurdle winner in waiting but he does posses a pretty big engine and Noel Meade has been aiming the six-year-old at this race for a couple of months. He has scored at Grade 2 level over hurdles, and could arguably turn out to be not far off the top staying hurdlers this winter if he were to brush up on his jumping.

He has already posted some good efforts on the level and followed up on a good seasonal debut win at Roscommon over hurdles to beat Shark Hanlon's admirable veteran Hidden Cyclone at Listowel over 1m6f.
