Leicester
Roger Varian has two in the 7f fillies’ handicap and Angel’s Glory (3.20) is favoured.

The three-year-old has yet to live up to her 300,000gns price tag, but she has shown promise in all three starts, most recently at Redcar where she picked up second to Pretty Baby.

She was easily brushed aside there, but that rival has since won a Listed race and there’s nothing like her in this race.

Immortal Romance (4.20) enjoyed the step up to 1m2f when winning at Yarmouth last time. He had a bit left so can shrug off a 7lb rise in the weights.

Redcar
Lever Du Soleil (2.30) failed to get competitive in three maidens, but he has benefited from stiffer tests of stamina since moving into handicap company, picking up minor honours at Musselburgh and Wolverhampton.

He was staying on strongly when third over 1m4f last time out and can break his maiden now that he steps up to 1m6f for the first time.

Gun Case (3.00) did well to secure second after a slow start at Hamilton last time and can win now if getting away on terms.

Brighton
Rocksette (7.50) has yet to win a race, but her latest Lingfield second suggests it is only a matter of time before she gets her head in front.

Sent off favourite, she hit the front approaching the final furlong but couldn’t quite hold off the determined challenge of Midnight Mood.

In-form apprentice Jason Watson takes over and his 5lb claim can help Philip Hide’s filly make the breakthrough in this 1m2f handicap.

Lingfield
Spring Romance (2.40) has been in great form recently and may be able to continue his progress in the 6f handicap.

The three-year-old was given plenty of time after some modest juvenile efforts and has thrived since his comeback, winning three of four starts this year including at Windsor last time out when he came with a powerful late challenge to deny Kodiac Express.

A 3lb rise still leaves him on a winnable mark.

Wolverhampton
Finoah (6.40) got stuck in the mud when making his debut at Leicester in April but produced a much better performance on a quicker surface at Chester second time out.

He didn’t quite have the gears to match clear winner Wedding Date that day but only lost second in the dying strides.

Even a repeat of that form would give Tom Dascombe’s charge every chance here, but he promises to improve again over this extra furlong.
