Exeter Placepot picks: Paul Kealy selects a couple of early bankers

There might be a few non-runners at Exeter given the forecast for heavy rain, but that won't bother , who is on a soft-ground hat-trick, and should at least hit the first two for Placepot punters in the opener (1.15).

In the next (1.45), has the Kim Bailey team quite excited and it's easy to see why after his runaway debut success here last month. This will be tougher, but he clearly relishes deep ground and is the one to beat.

Leg three (2.20) is much harder, and I'd be concerned over how much Mister Marbles will find on this stiff track after being run out of it at Ludlow last time.

Preferred are , who battled well on his hurdles debut when second in the mud at Sandown, and , who will be a price but shapes as if he'll improve for this stiff track.

In the next My Silver Lining looks short enough in her first handicap, and , who ran into a well-punted winner last time, is preferred. He goes in with main fancy .

With Gary Moore remaining in such cracking form appeals in the next (3.30) despite running against two well-in rivals, one of which, , also goes in.

In the last (4.05) and are my two as Longshanks' only bad run this season came on this track on heavy ground.
