The Betfred Cambridgeshire (4.10) lost two of its most interesting contenders when Sacred Act and Eddystone Rock were late casualties and it is no great surprise to see last year’s winner Third Time Lucky head the market again.

After a difficult start to the season he bounced back to form with an excellent run at York behind Firmament and he can be expected to go well.

However, at twice his price, so too should last year’s third Examiner, who has quite clearly been primed for another crack at this big prize by Stuart Williams.
