The two-mile chase division has lost a couple of its big guns already this season and with Douvan not making the trip from Ireland, the Betfair Tingle Creek (3.00) is not as strong a race as it could have been.

However, we do have the second and fourth from last year’s Champion Chase plus perhaps the best British novice over the trip in Ar Mad along with former champion Sire De Grugy.

This race is always a great spectacle but the market is all wrong because Un De Sceaux has it all to do on decent ground on his first run of the season.
