JP McManus's recent purchase Gypsy Island might well be a star but she has won only a Ballinrobe bumper and could be over-hyped so Put The Kettle On is more my cup of tea in the Connolly's Red Mills Irish EBF Mares Auction Maiden Hurdle (12.30) at Navan.

You get the impression Willie Mullins could think Mister Blue Sky is a Grade 1 performer in the making and Put The Kettle On was the only one to put up any sort of resistance to him at Wexford. She's an imposing mare who will get better with racing and could prove some value against Gypsy Island, who has yet to jump a hurdle in public.
