Henry de Bromhead and Willie Mullins have shared seven of the last eight editions of the Grade 3 Surehaul Mercedes-Benz Novice Hurdle (2.40) between them and they are responsible for four of the nine runners this time around.

Allaho is a strange candidate from Closutton given he has only run in a Leopardstown bumper and didn't even win it, but De Bromhead is triple-handed with Capuccimix, Minella Indo and Cool Saint. All three have some sort of chance of following in the footsteps of Monalee (2017) and Chris's Dream (2018).
