Dutch Dream floors favourite after trading at maximum
There was a good start to the day for those who played Desert Water in running in the maiden that opened Goodwood's card (1.50). The Richard Hannon-trained filly was sent off at 14-1 but traded at 65 in the run before producing a strong run inside the last to come out on top.

There was an even bigger surprise in the maiden at Hamilton (2.50). Thankyou Stars was sent off at odds of 1-16 but was beaten by Dutch Dream, who traded at the maximum 1000. It was an eventful contest, with Knotty Jack unseating after the saddle slipped.
