Alan King’s gelding hasn’t stood much racing since returning from an injury-enforced absence of two years. However, he progressed nicely enough over fences in three starts last season and was fully entitled to need his comeback run when pulled-up late on at Bangor three weeks ago.

It is well worth pointing out the son of King’s Theatre is unbeaten in three starts over jumps on today’s forecast good to soft ground, whereas his form figures under more testing conditions - it was soft last time - are 36F2P.
