Bollin Ted was unlucky to run into a well-treated winner in Katebird.
Running off a mark of just 45, Tim Easterby’s three-year-old made headway to chase the leading pair and kept on well into second in the final furlong.

I interviewed Easterby on Racing UK beforehand and the trainer described him as a “smashing long-term prospect”.

Easterby knows the family extremely well and improvement can be expected with time and experience.
