Melon was a massive gossip horse last year, and despite getting found out when second in a weak Supreme Novices' Hurdle, he still seems to have attracted plenty of support.

He is roughly joint favourite for this contest (favourite on Sporting's line) despite being the second-lowest-rated runner in the field and he actually comes out worst at the weights as he is giving weight to all bar The New One.
