Trainer: Michael Bowe
8th, 2m maiden hurdle, Punchestown, May 16
However brilliant the Bowe's mare Solerina was as a racehorse, she hasn't been anywhere near as successful as a broodmare, dual winner Jaime Sommers being her only progeny of note. However, this newcomer by Doyen caught the eye in a maiden hurdle that may well produce a few winners.

Held up, he was well behind for most of the journey and didn't really begin to make any headway until after the second-last, but from the top of the straight and especially from the final flight he stayed on to very good effect to be beaten less than nine lengths. He is certainly promising and even at this stage he wants a step up in trip.

5th, 2m3f maiden hurdle, Clonmel, May 17
A gorgeous big son of Kayf Tara, this four-year-old ran a lovely race on debut in an interesting maiden hurdle, and it would be surprising if he doesn't win his share of races.
