Some say Paul Nolan scuffed a chance at scoring an open goal by not running Latest Exhibition in the Underwriting Exchange Gold Cup on Sunday, but I fully support his decision to have a go at the big one and think he will be rewarded in spades.

It is obviously not ideal for a novice to be carrying top weight in the Irish Grand National but Latest Exhibition is no ordinary novice and fully deserves to shoulder 11st 10lb. Indeed, his mark of 153 surely underestimates his talent.
