Dave Randall with his take on the best Placepot perm at Naas

The opening race of the Placepot on the Flat card from Naas is an eight-runner 5f juvenile contest (2.00) made up entirely by newcomers and Aidan O'Brien's Lipizzaner, a $650,000 colt by Uncle Mo, surely has the right credentials to reach the first three.

O'Brien's Knight Of Malta and Kieran Cotter's Woodford General both finished fourth on testing ground here around five months ago and have strong place prospects in the 6f maiden (2.30).

Dermot Weld's Titanium Sky, who can go well fresh, and two last-time-out 6f winners at Dundalk, in Michael Halford's Arcanears and Joseph O'Brien's Dark Vader, make up the three for the 6f handicap (3.00).
