'I cannot believe he's not favourite' - Harry Wilson returns with his tips for every race live on ITV on Saturday

Harry Wilson returns with his advice for all nine races on ITV from Haydock, Ascot and Kempton on Saturday.

1.25 Haydock
Betfair Backs Opinions Superior Mile Stakes (Group 3), 1m

Harry's tip: Fondo Blanco

Fondo Blanco improved for a softer surface last autumn, notably winning easily over course and distance, and confirmed his liking for ease underfoot when chasing home a well-regarded sort at Goodwood last time. He has a bit to find with the principals, but he could well have more to offer in these conditions now back up to a mile.

1.40 Ascot
Schweppes Handicap, 7f

Harry's tip: Two Tribes

Two Tribes ran okay over a mile last time following his excusable effort in the Stewards' Cup (lost all chance at the start), but this trip suits him better, as he showed when winning the International Handicap over course and distance last year. He bumped into a well-treated one in that race in July and is a big player off just 1lb higher.

1.55 Haydock
Betfair Celebrates Bow Echo Ascendant Stakes (Listed), 1m

Harry's tip: First Law

Rocket Boy has the best form on offer, but this will be about who handles conditions best and his pedigree does not scream soft ground, so I'll side with First Law. Bought for £1 million gns, he overcame greenness to win a mile novice at Sandown on his debut and could have lots more to offer.

2.10 Ascot
tote.co.uk Money Back 2nd Handicap, 1m4f

Harry's tip: Ancestor

Ancestor has taken big steps forward since a disappointing debut in May, comfortably winning a strong 1m2f novice at Yarmouth before following up at Haydock last time, when conceding 12lb to a 78-rated rival. He has shaped as though he would benefit from stepping up in trip and could be better than his opening mark.

2.20 Kempton
William Hill London Mile Series Final Handicap, 1m

Harry's tip: Victory Ace

Victory Ace arrives on an upward curve, following narrow victories at Newcastle and Kempton with an emphatic four-and-a-quarter-length success in a qualifier for this over the course and distance last time. He has been hit with a 10lb rise, but he is clearly thriving and Finley Marsh, who is 1-1 for the yard, is an interesting booking.

2.30 Haydock
Best Odds On The Betfair Exchange Handicap, 1m6f

Harry's tip: Lopeo

Lopeo looked to benefit from a gelding operation when finishing second in a couple of handicaps at Doncaster this year before disappointing on fast ground at Newmarket last time. A heavy-ground winner as a juvenile, he should appreciate the softer ground and is expected to bounce back after a break.

2.50 Kempton
William Hill September Stakes (Group 3), 1m4f

Harry's tip: Warrant Holder

Warrant Holder was disappointing in the John Smith's Cup last time, but he was a fine second when conceding 5lb to Opportunity (now 13lb higher) at Royal Ascot the start before and I'm willing to give him another chance. He is 2-3 on the all-weather, is unexposed at the trip and is likely to be ripe for this following a short break.

3.05 Haydock
Betfair Exchange Old Borough Cup Handicap, 1m6f

Harry's tip: Ashnak

Ashnak has run some good races without winning for David O'Meara, notably chasing home the progressive Square Necker in a 1m5f handicap at Ayr on soft ground in June and finishing fourth in a York handicap in May that has worked out superbly. He remains on a workable mark and will relish testing conditions.

3.40 Haydock
Betfair Sprint Cup Stakes (Group 1), 6f

Harry's tip: Kind Of Blue

I cannot believe that Kind Of Blue is not favourite. Not only did he win the Champions Sprint in 2024 on his sole encounter with soft ground, but he has finished second in the last two runnings of this contest on quicker ground. Those were his three best Racing Post Ratings, and he should be hard to beat with everything in his favour.
