Harry's tip: Gincident

Gincident has been consistent since joining James Owen, producing form figures of 13331219. He can be excused his last run at Yarmouth as it was a better race than this and the soft ground didn’t suit. He’d looked progressive since being equipped with a hood and tongue-tie before that, including when beating two subsequent winners at Beverley in June, and can bounce back now returned to a sound surface.

Harry's tip: Half Sovereign

Half Sovereign was an eyecatcher in a 6f novice on her debut, staying on well for fourth after missing the start, and she has built on that with back-to-back wins since being upped to this trip. She defied a penalty with a bit in hand last time and is open to improvement now handicapping.

Harry's tip: Jan Steen

Jan Steen was down the field when upped in class in the Windsor Castle Stakes at Royal Ascot last time, but he showed more than enough ability on his first two starts to make him of interest now handicapping. He stepped up on his comfortable debut win when third on his only try at this trip next time, finishing two lengths behind the now 95-rated First Legion (who was in receipt of 5lb) and a neck in front of Norfolk Stakes runner-up Wise Approach, while the fifth-placed Tadej has won a Group 3 since. He could be underestimated by a mark of 87.

Harry's tip: Glamorous Marlene

Glamorous Marlene finished midfield in three decent 7f events last year, showing ability each time while suggesting she would benefit from further. She’s well bred, being a half-sister to the Grade 1 winner Anisette, and could prove underestimated by a mark of 70 now handicapping.

Harry's tip: Court Alert

Court Alert could only manage fifth on his debut at Newbury last month, but that is historically a strong event and he showed up well for a long way behind a pair of previous winners despite looking as though he would improve for the experience. He’s a half-brother to the Group 1-winning sprinter Believing and is expected to take a big step forward.

Harry's tip: American Style

American Style has made the frame in some of the best three-year-old sprint handicaps around since winning a Class 4 handicap at Ripon on his reappearance, most recently doing best of the far side behind an impressive winner at Newmarket last month. He recorded a career-best Racing Post Rating of 93 that day, which makes his mark of 87 look workable, and he should get back to winning ways now dropped markedly in class.

Sky Bet Extra Places Handicap, 5f

Harry's tip: Accrual

Accrual has to be forgiven for a couple of poor efforts, but he was progressive last summer when recording a peak RPR of 91, and looks well handicapped off a mark of 79. Something was likely amiss when he failed to beat a rival at Newcastle last August as he was off for a year before returning at Yarmouth two weeks ago, when he pulled far too hard and may not have been suited by the testing conditions. He’s fitted with a hood this time and could resume his progress now.

Harry's tip: Bint Mohaather

The horse with the most potential upside is Bint Mohaather, who scored comfortably over this trip at Wolverhampton in June, beating a now 73-rated rival by four and a half lengths. She has since shaped as though she would benefit from a return to this distance at Doncaster last month, when she proved she could handle the turf that day, and she could’ve been let off lightly with an opening mark of 77.

Harry's tip: Be Frank

Be Frank hasn’t had many goes at a mile, but he proved his stamina for the trip when beaten just three-quarters of a length at Chelmsford in June and has shaped like that trip would suit on his last two starts over shorter. He stayed on well after missing the break in a 7½f handicap at Chester, form that has been franked by the winner, and again was doing good late work in a Racing League handicap at Chepstow on Thursday. A mark of 76 looks workable.

Sky Bet Club Handicap, 2m

Harry's tip: Belgravian

Belgravian has form figures of 121 since handicapping and being fitted with cheekpieces, most recently proving her stamina for this trip when winning with a bit in hand at Doncaster. Her Chelmsford second before that is a solid piece of form as the winner has gone in again twice since, and she should have more to offer at this distance.
