Harry Wilson had three winners on the Cesarewitch card and reveals his picks for the final day of the Welsh Racing Festival on Sunday

Our in-form tipster marks your card for Chepstow's meeting

Harry Wilson returns with his advice for all seven races on the final day of the Welsh Racing Festival at Chepstow on Sunday . . .

1.32 Chepstow
Champion Equestrian Conditional Jockeys' Handicap Chase, 3m2f

Harry's tip: Deep Purple

Deep Purple wasn't seen to best effect when fourth in a race run at a fast pace last time, but that's the third time he's made the frame over fences since wearing cheekpieces. He'd previously suggested he was capable of winning off this mark when second at Worcester in August, form that has been franked by the winner going in again since, and the return to this course should suit, given he was a comfortable winner of his only start here.

2.07 Chepstow
DragonBet / EBF Mares' National Hunt Novices Hurdle, 2m3½f

Harry's tip: Riviera Walk

Riviera Walk made a promising start when landing a Sedgefield bumper last October, looking value for more than the head winning margin suggests, considering she hung repeatedly through inexperience in the final furlong. She has improved her RPR since, despite defeat in two quality Cheltenham bumpers, and looks a nice prospect.

2.42 Chepstow
Tom Malone Bloodstock Novices' Chase (Listed), 2m3½f

Harry's tip: Blueking D'Oroux

NON-RUNNER

3.17 Chepstow
DragonBet 'Welsh Champion' Hurdle, 2m

Harry's tip: Wilful

There should be more to come from Wilful, who was beaten less than a length in a Listed handicap hurdle at the Punchestown festival. The form has been franked by the fourth, who has since won a Grade 3 hurdle, and the fifth, who finished first past the post in the Galway Hurdle. He could be underestimated by a 6lb rise.

4.27 Chepstow
dragonbet.co.uk Born From The Betting Ring Seniors' Handicap Hurdle, 2m

Harry's tip: Father Of Jazz

It takes a leap of faith to support Father Of Jazz after his disappointing efforts on the Flat, but he was without the hood that is refitted here and hopefully those runs will have left him spot on for this hurdles return. He won three in a row in his last spell over hurdles in 2023, including a comfortable handicap victory off just 2lb lower, and is expected to bounce back with Harry Cobden in the saddle.

5.02 Chepstow
Wasdell Group Open National Hunt Flat Race, 2m

Harry's tip: Lancelot D'Alene

There isn't a great deal to go on, but Paul Nicholls has won this five times in nine years and his point runner-up Lancelot D'Alene, who is related to a French AQPS Flat winner, is taken to make a winning start.
