Harry Wilson was in sparkling form in this column last week, firing in ten winners at 6-1 (twice), 4-1 (twice), 7-2, 18-5, 3-1, 9-4, 7-4 and 4-9 across Friday, Saturday and Sunday to post a profit of £11.54 to a level stake. He returns with his advice for the five Grade 1s on the opening night at the Breeders' Cup at Del Mar on Friday

Harry's tip: Aspect Island

Cheveley Park Stakes one-two True Love and Havana Anna bring the strongest form, with Havana Anna fancied to reverse placings over this shorter trip, but they could get caught wide from their draws in stalls nine and eight, so it is worth taking a chance on Aspect Island, who is drawn in four. He finished a close third on his first go at this trip in the Cornwallis Stakes last time – a race won in a juvenile course-record time – despite not looking happy on the undulations and sitting closer to a good pace than the two who finished in front of him. He has enough early pace to secure a good position and looks overpriced at 20-1.

10.25 Del Mar
NetJets Breeders' Cup Juvenile Fillies (Grade 1), 1m½f

Harry's tip: Percy's Bar

Percy's Bar reversed Spinaway Stakes form with Tommy Jo in the Grade 1 Alcibiades Stakes at Keeneland last time, beating that rival by two and three-quarter lengths under more positive tactics (was held-up previously) before being disqualified for impeding the runner-up over a furlong out. That looked harsh, given Tommy Jo never looked like going past and wasn't catching her at the line, and she can make amends here.

11.05 Del Mar
John Deere Breeders' Cup Juvenile Fillies Turf (Grade 1), 1m

Harry's tip: Queen Of Hawaii

With Precise out, I'll side with the progressive Queen Of Hawaii, who followed her maiden win with an emphatic victory in a Group 3 at the Curragh in August when last seen. She was due to line up in the Fillies' Mile before being ruled out, so is well regarded, and can continue her improvement from a good draw in stall two.

Fanduel Breeders' Cup Juvenile presented by Thoroughbred Aftercare Alliance (Grade 1), 1m½f

Harry's tip: Intrepido

Ted Noffey, who is unbeaten and has impressively won two Grade 1s, and expensive breeze-up purchase Brant, who made it 2-2 with a comfortable Grade 1 success at this track last time, will likely go well, but I'd rather side with Intrepido, who overcame trouble in running (didn't have a clear run then was hemmed in around the bend) to land the Grade 1 American Pharoah Stakes at Santa Anita last time. He has won at the track and breaks well, so should have no problem getting a position from stall one.

12.25 Del Mar
Breeders' Cup Juvenile Turf (Grade 1), 1m

Harry's tip: Argos

Gstaad sets the standard, but he's usually keen and is no certainty to see out the trip if he fails to settle, especially from the widest stall in 14. I'd rather take a chance on Argos, who was much improved for tackling this trip last time, beating the Charlie Appleby-trained Wild Desert (close third in the Group 2 Superlative Stakes) in the Grade 1 Summer Stakes at Woodbine last month. His ability to handle Woodbine should translate nicely to Del Mar and he looks overpriced.
