He then finished a respectable fourth in the Group 1 Prix Jean-Luc Lagardere. Richard Hannon is happy he will act in soft ground and he has had a wind operation over the winter.

A Listed winner on heavy ground at Haydock, Great Scot wasn’t beaten far when fifth in the Vertem Futurity Trophy subsequently. This might be a bit sharp, but more stamina than usual may be needed in the conditions.
