Clyne has every chance of landing Relkeel success after Newbury run

Clyne (blue silks, leading): lands the 2m4f handicap hurdle for Evan Williams

Newmarket: Anthony Burke

Hanati (12.35 Southwell)

Well-bred newcomer who has been showing up well in her recent work and looks primed to make a winning debut.

Others to follow
Southwell: 1.10 Global Melody, 1.45 Equimou, 2.20 Me Too Nagasaki, 2.55 Pearl Spectre, 3.30 Limerick Lord.

North: Richard Young

Fearless (3.50 Cheltenham, nap)

Picked up for £120,000 after his ready debut success at Wincanton and is well worth a place in this stronger company. He is open to bags of improvement and this scopey sort is fancied to follow up.

Others to follow
Catterick: 12.25 Legalized, 1.00 Life Knowledge, 1.35 Braavos, 2.10 See The Sea, 2.45 Lord County, 3.20 Nemean Lion.
Cheltenham: 2.35 Nautical Nitwit, 3.10 Midnight Shadow.
Musselburgh: 12.30 Al Kherb, 1.05 Buckled, 1.40 Upsilon Bleu, 2.15 Chica Buena, 2.50 Kajaki, 3.25 Born For War.
Southwell: 12.35 Jungle Secret, 1.10 Kommander Kirkup, 1.45 Ornate, 2.20 Angel Palanas, 2.55 Tagur, 3.30 Luath.

Lambourn: James Burn

Article Fifty (1.50 Exeter, nap)

Well-regarded gelding looked a potential star with a bumper win in November 2017, but failed to build on that. However, he has had a breathing operation since his last run and is worth another go.

Others to follow
Catterick: 12.25 Hogan's Height, 1.35 Duke Debarry, 2.10 Katabatika.
Cheltenham: 12.15 I Can't Explain, 12.50 Beware The Bear, 1.25 On The Blind Side, 2.00 Divine Spear, 2.35 Jersey Bean, 3.10 Thomas Campbell, 3.50 Cascova.
Exeter: 2.25 Blameitalonmyroots.
Fakenham: 1.55 Amanto, 3.40 Petite Jack.
Musselburgh: 1.05 Dans Le Vent.
Southwell: 1.45 Jashma.

West Country: Tim Mitchell

Extra Mag (12.40 Exeter, nap)

Unfortunate not to have opened his account on hurdling and stable debut but for unseating at the last at Wetherby in November. Nice prospect who looks to have been found an inviting opportunity to make amends.

Others to follow
Cheltenham: 12.15 Darlac, 12.50 Rolling Dylan, 1.25 Defi Du Seuil, 2.00 Give Me A Copper, 2.35 Chameron, 3.10 Old Guard.
Exeter: 1.15 Trans Express, 1.50 Caribert, 2.25 Run To Milan, 3.00 White Moon, 3.35 Only Gorgeous, 4.05 New Age Dawning.
Fakenham: 12.45 Blu Cavalier, 1.20 Polo The Mumm, 3.05 Molly Carew, 3.40 Kings Inn.

Racing Post Ratings: Steve Mason

Clyne (3.10 Cheltenham, nap)

Would prefer easier ground, but race times suggest it wasn't all that testing when he chased home Unowhatimeanharry at Newbury last time and a reproduction of that form would probably suffice at these weights.

Longshot: Dave Revers

Pearl Spectre (2.55 Southwell)

Been out of form for a while but often saves his best for this venue. He's now 5lb lower than when last successful and could cause a minor upset at an each-way price.

Topspeed: Dave Edwards

I Can't Explain (12.15 Cheltenham)

Proved a cut above his rivals on his hurdling debut at Sandown and can maintain his unbeaten record over this longer trip and on better ground.

Ireland: Tony O'Hehir

Eight And Bob (1.45 Tramore)

The Willie Mullins-trained five-year-old has held his form well in recent months. Beaten narrowly when upped to 2m4f at Cork last time, he went up 5lb for that effort but still makes appeal in this 2m5f handicap and gets the vote to score under Ruby Walsh.

The Raceform Interactive Nugget

Since the start of 2017 Brian Hughes is 8-19 when riding for Kevin Ryan, improving to 4-6 (+£10.31 to £1 stakes) at Musselburgh. Hughes is 1-1 on Kajaki and he rides the grey at 2.50.
