Chepstow Placepot tips: Graeme Rodway with a small perm over the jumps

The best jumps card is at Chepstow and that looks the most appealing for a Placepot.

There is an exciting runner in the opening 2m maiden hurdle (12.30) in the shape of Good Risk At All, who won two Listed bumpers last season and should be good enough for a place.

The 2m3½f handicap hurdle (1.00) doesn’t look easy. Representing Bob has won his last two over fences and must be included off a lower hurdles mark. After The Fox is next best.

Eceparti could go well in the 2m7½f conditional jockeys’ handicap chase (1.30), but it’s also worth including On Call, who won well over course and distance at the October fixture.

Misty Bloom is one of my best bets and is a banker in the 2m71/2f handicap hurdle (2.00).

Witness Protection has proven form over fences and looks the solid option in the 2m novice handicap chase (2.30). Brewers Project is the unknown quantity for the Paul Nicholls yard, while Nicholls holds the key to the last with Brave Kingdom in the 2m3½f maiden hurdle (3.00).
