Cartmel Placepot picks: Richard Birch shares his fancies for the jumps meeting

He appeals in the 2m1f handicap hurdle (1.30), with That’s Your Lottie also capable of outrunning likely big odds on the proviso that she settles better than at Hexham last time.

Tonto’s Spirit can land a record-breaking eighth Cartmel success in the 2m1f handicap chase (2.05), while Canelo and Larry Looby look the best options in the 3m1f handicap chase (2.40).
