>>Billesdon Brook overcame a nightmare run to land the 7f nursery at Goodwood and make it two winners in a row to defy 1,000 in running on Betfair, following Oakly's victory after trading at the maximum in the 2m4½f novice hurdle at Galway.

Oakly stung punters who had forced Robin Des Foret to 1.13, while Billesdon Brook's late lunge denied those who backed Cheeky Rascal to a low of 1.03.
