Brighton Placepot tips: Graeme Rodway with his selections for Monday's card

My two best bets run at Brighton so it makes sense to play the Placepot there.

Alba Del Sole is the first of those in the 5½f handicap (2.10), but, with only six declared, it is worth putting Aquadabra in as a backup. Likely favourite Good Earth might be vulnerable.

Oscula made a promising debut at Kempton and is banker material in the 6f maiden (2.40).

The 6f handicap (3.10) looks tricky and I'm not going to stray far from the likely market leaders because the race may lack strength in depth. Go with Tawaafoq and Cobra Eye.

Only two places will be on offer in the 1m2f handicap (3.40). It might be worth taking Summer's Knight on with Patroon and Lochanthem, who both look potential improvers.

Ispahan ran in some hot staying races last year and is a banker in the 1m4f handicap (4.10).

The mile handicap (4.45) is a wide-open race to finish and nobody likes going out in the last. Let's go with two darts. Lady Susie is the most solid, while it is also worth including Ocean Wilde.
