Bigbadjohn a likely improver over fences 2.55 Uttoxeter

Described as a “great big 17 hands horse and a proper chaser in the making” by trainer Rebecca Curtis, this dual-Irish point winner showed plenty of promise over hurdles last season, but is evidently the type to improve switched to fences.

A nine-length winner of a 2m4½f novice hurdle at Newbury in April, the seven-year-old struggled when tried in a Grade 1 at the Punchestown festival last time but this is much easier.
