Bayside Boy could be the juvenile hero I've been holding out for

This isn't going to do my street cred much good, but back when I was a kid one of the first singles I ever bought was by Welsh crooner Bonnie Tyler.

It was called Holding Out For A Hero, and while she wasn't referring to the 2021 crop of two-year-olds, I think the sentiment rings true.

According to my figures and the visuals, this year's crop of two-year-olds, with a few notable exceptions, are the worst for many years, and surely the good ones are going to come out soon and put the early front-runners in their place.
