Bangor Placepot tips: Graeme Rodway with his selections for a £100,000 pool

The £100,000 Placepot guarantee is on at Bangor and it looks worth playing the bet there.

Not Available is well handicapped and could bounce back to form in the opening 2m4½f handicap chase (12.50). He is out of form, though, so it’s also worth putting Yggdrasil in.

The 2m1½f mares’ novice chase (1.25) should go to Found On. She was wildly impressive when bolting up at Cheltenham last month and a reproduction will be good enough to place.

The 3m handicap chase (2.00) is wide open. Ask Me Early doesn’t make it to the track often but he is useful when he does and goes into the perm alongside the progressive Rapid Flight.

The winner will be needed in the 2m½f junior hurdle (2.35) and it’s a difficult race to call as only one has ever run before. Put John The Pirate in and also go for the unraced Javert Allen.

Hunters Call is one of my best bets of the day and rates banker material in the 2m3½f handicap hurdle (3.05), while the 2m½f novice hurdle (3.35) should go to Ivar.
