Bangor Placepot tips: Graeme Rodway has a small perm for the jumps fixture

There’s an interesting card at Bangor and most of my fancies are in the Placepot races.

I don’t have one of my best bets in the opening 2m4½f handicap chase (12.30), though, so it won’t be easy to negotiate. Maybe Do It For Thy Sen and Crypto can get us to the second leg.

Emmas Joy is a strong fancy for the 2m1½f novice chase (1.00), but her fitness has to be taken on trust. It might also be worth including Maskada, who has a recent run under her belt.

Belami Des Pictons should be fully wound up after a long break and is my main selection in the 3m handicap chase (1.30). Windsor Avenue is well handicapped and could also run well.

Painless Potter sets the standard in the 2m½f juvenile maiden hurdle (2.00) and is a banker. Similar comments apply for Hermes Boy in the following 2m½f maiden hurdle (2.30).

Goobinator has been in good form on the Flat and also rates a banker in the last leg, the 2m3½f handicap hurdle (3.00). Donald McCain’s string is in fantastic form.
